Pop Culture is giving us viruses but we are of course talking about malware but, it’s not to be sniffled at! Apparently according to McAfee’s most recent study: Most Dangerous Celebrities of 2018, you could be infected with a virus by simply searching for your favorite celebrity online!

Take Ruby Rose for example; She made it to number one on the list of Most Dangerous Celebrities, and that’s not because she was just appointed the newest Batwoman either! By Just searching for Ruby Rose, you could inadvertently open a whole Pandoras box of malicious fan sites that could potentially put you at risk from cyber criminals.

Here’s a list of the top 10 celebrity names compiled by McAfee, that you should avoid if you are lacking the necessary software to keep you protected.

    1. Ruby Rose; The Australian actress / television presenter / model is the newest appointed Batwoman and because of that she is gaining a lot of internet attraction now. Ruby came to fame when she presented MTV Australia and she has since hosted a handful of tv shows most notably; Australia’s Next Top Model and has also been the Australian face of Makeup giants Maybelline.

It seems like the popular interest in TV Sitcoms and Reality TV shows has switched up the list compared to 2017’s List of Dangerous Celebrities. They were largely made up of musicians at the top positions, however the likes of Adele, Lady Gaga, Shakira and Avril Lavine all made it in the top 30 list.
